Gaijin Entertainment has released a new live action trailer for its WWII MMO game, War Thunder. The trailer, titled “Victory is Ours,” is meant to commemorate the heroism of all the participants, debuting this past weekend at the Russian Comic Con event on October 4th.
The video highlights the emphasis of combined effort it took for victory, including dogfighting pilots and tank drivers supporting infantry. In particular, the trailer highlights the Germans and Russians locked in an offensive that lasted six months during the war when Germany advanced on Moscow in 1941. It’s a pretty nifty little video full of near miss bullets and some decent camera work for a live action trailer of this scale for a video game.
War Thunder is currently in open beta on PC and Mac, with versions available on PS4 and OnLive as well. Development is also underway to bring the WWII game to mobile devices and to support Oculus Rift. You can checkout the game’s official website to learn more and download the game.
