Superflat Games [via the Playstation Blog] has announced today that it's bringing its PC horror adventure game, Lone Survivor, to the PS3 and PS Vita.

The game--which Superflat Games noted was widely praised (it got a 81 Critic score on Metacritic)--is described as a psychological-survival-adventure game, which follows a nameless protagonist who must survive a city of diseased monsters while tired and starved. How you survive in Lone Survivor is up to you, which supports a stealthy approach or a shoot-em-'up approach to conflicts, allows you to help other survivors or escape the city alone, and requires eating, sleeping. The protagonist will even face insanity, with the game examining grief, health issues, and drug abuse in addition to all of the other things he has to go through.

Poor guy.

You can check out the trailer and screenshots below. Lone Survivor will be exclusive to the PS3 and the PS Vita, and comes with Trophies, Cross-Buy, Cross-Play, new dialogue, two new sidequests, a new ending, and even more new content.

While we don't know exactly when the game will arrive (yet), it's set to release sometime in July--will your Summer be spent spiraling into a haunted drug-induced madness?
