Indie Steal of the Weekend: Get Frozen Synapse on Steam for 50% Off

on August 12, 2011 7:00 PM

I wrote briefly about Frozen Synapse a while back, exclaiming how it has the potential to be one of the best indie games of the year. Sure enough, my friends have been telling me it’s the best strategy game that’s been released this year, and now you can find out for yourself on the cheap, as Steam’s offering it for 50% off this weekend. That’s half off for two copies of the game, which would make you crazy not to impulse purchase the sucker.

Additionally, they’ve also released a demo for the tactical shooter, so in case you’re on the fence about it, you can try it before you buy it.

I’ve played a bit of Frozen Synapse, and I already know this is something that may potentially take over my live for the next few weeks. As someone with a lot of crap to do, it’s a dangerous dangerous game. Purchase it or try out the demo here.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
