Indivisible Becomes First PS4 Game Prototype Released on PSN

Skullgirls developer, Lab Zero Games, has put the prototype for its action-RPG title currently in development — Indivisible — up on the US PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4. This will be the first time that a developer has put a prototype build on PSN.

Indivisible currently sits on the crowdfunding web site Indiegogo, where it is looking to meet its $1.5 million goal. As of this writing, the project currently sits at $632,714.00 with 10 days left to hit its target. Unfortunately, should the game not reach its goal, the developer will not make the game. Of course, there are concerns as to whether or not this was a smart move by Lab Zero [releasing a prototype], but I’ll say that’s it’s always nice to know where your money is going.

For those of you in European territories, the developer has stated that “EU PSN should be approved for release soon,” meaning you’ll also be able to get your hands on the game at some point in time.

What are your thoughts on the developer releasing a prototype into the wild?
