Today, developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new Injustice 2 trailer titled "Your Battles Your Way."

The trailer -- which is a lengthy three minutes and 11 seconds -- outlines the Gear System that, according to Warner Bros, "brings a new level of depth to the game," and allows players to evolve their play style. Further -- again according to Warner Bros -- Gear will "open up vast possibilities for personalization by enabling combatants of all levels to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters to fit their fighting style."

Beyond outlining the Gear System, the trailer also notably confirms Mr. Freeze as a premier skin for Captain Cold, 2 minutes and 10 seconds in.

Injustice 2 is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017. Below, you can check out the new trailer:
