Injustice: Gods Among Us to be Bigger than Mortal Kombat

The producer of NetherRealm’s upcoming fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us, Adam Urbano, has shared a few precious details about the highly anticipated title. Firstly, Adam says that the game will contain more core content than the studios own well received fighter Mortal Kombat (also known as Mortal Kombat 9). He also says that the game will retain the “tournament level depth” of MK9.

The team recognizes that online play is one of the most important components of a new fighting game, and he says that they’ve spent more than two years engineering the game’s netcode. Finally, Adam says that the team wasn’t happy with the way compatibility for DLC was handled in MK9, and that’s definitely something they plan to improve upon in Injustice.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is expected to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in April of this year.
