Is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Heading to Home Consoles?

Mercury Steam’s David Cox confessed back in February that the success of the Nintendo 3DS exclusive Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate could result in an HD version of the game for PS3 and Xbox 360. This is finally going to happen, if Play-Asia’s listing for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (The Collection) is to be believed. This collection allegedly includes the original Lords of Shadow, as well as both previously released DLC add-ons for the game (Reverie and Resurrection), a demo for Lords of Shadow 2 and – get this – Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD. This bundle is listed for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and for just $35 (with free shipping).

Konami has yet to announce a Lords of Shadow collection, so don’t be surprised if your pre-order for this is cancelled. The listing claims the game will be in stock in October. I was just looking for a cheap copy of Lords of Shadow the other day, but if this is to be believed then I’ll just hold off for now.
