Is This for Real Or Is it Just a Game? Nope, It’s Adrian Gonzalez’s Road to the Show Trailer

MLB ’12: The Show is out tomorrow. But why wait until then to see this trailer for the game in which cover athlete Adrian Gonzalez and Red Sox fan Damian each recount their batting experiences? While Gonzalez reflects on just how tough it is to make the call of to swing or not, Damian tells us the story of how he bested a friend playing as the New York Yankees because, well, this.

Gonzalez goes over what it means to anticipate a fresh pitch. Damian, on the other hand, pretty much recounts a similar experience, albeit one that’s totally digital in nature. Either way, this is a pretty good indicator of what you can expect when you pick up The Show¬†tomorrow. We’ve got the trailer after the jump.

As a 10-year-old how would you¬†have reacted to your 18-year-old brother’s pitches? In my case, there would have been a lot of shrieking and plenty of posing in the fetal position. Good work, Adrian. Good work.
