Is This the Final Cover Art for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on PS4?

Sony Computer Entertainment Europa just released a batch of screenshots and artwork of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and it included a rather interesting detail.

One of the pieces of artwork’s file name on SCEE’s press center was very explicitly named “U4 Pack Art Final.jpg.”

While Sony still hasn’t announced the game’s cover art officially, the file name leaves very little room for imagination, most possibly indicating that we’re looking at the artwork that will go on the game’s cover.

Below you can see the full artwork, and a mock-up made by us adding the game’s logo and other minutiae from the mock cover you can find on Amazon, just to see how the finished thing could look like.

Just to be fully clear once more, The second picture below does not come from Sony, but it’s a mash-up we made in Photoshop to give you a better idea of what we might find on the shelves this fall.

Of course we have no way to be 100% sure of this until Sony makes an official announcement, so for now you should consider this just a rumor. In the meanwhile, we’ve reached out to Sony Computer Entertainment requesting a clarification, and we’ll let you know if we get any relevant info.

That said, it looks really good, doesn’t it?
