It’s Official: AT&T Announces Pricing for PlayStation Vita 3G Plans

on January 9, 2012 7:00 PM

It seems like the “rumor” we heard last week has been confirmed true by a tweet on the official PlayStation Twitter account earlier. The plans for the PlayStation Vita 3G version are $14.99 for 250MB/month and $24.99 for 2GB/month. The plus side here, assuming you’re going to purchase the 3G version of the Vita, is that these plans require no contract and can be activated on a month-by-month basis if you so desire. Similar to iPad plans, if you’re traveling or will otherwise be away from your home wi-fi, it may come in handy to subscribe for a month.

Either way you roll, the Vita is going to be one sexy beast, and you will be even sexier carrying it around. All that sexiness starts officially on February 22, 2012, about a month and a half from right now.
