Iwaihime: Matsuri has received a new character trailer for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita port from Nippon Icchi Software.

The trailer introduces the character Tsubakiko Harumiya who is part of the main cast of characters that players will be able to interact with during the course of the horror visual novel.

From the mind of Ryukishi07 (Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry), Iwaihime: Matsuri tells a story of the Susuharia family, whose males leave home at certain age of maturity. The main protagonist is no different, he planned to enter school and then transfer out to begin his training of body and soul until he became accepted as an adult.

However, after meeting a strange girl in class, Toe Kurokami, who carries a Japanese doll around with her everywhere. Susuharia-san is suddenly wrapped up in a deep mystery and chooses not to leave. The doll could be cursed, but that is to be discovered in the game’s story.

This will be a console port of the PC title, set to release on September 7 in Japan.

Recently, Toe Kurokami received a character trailer that is actually rather scary. There is currently no word on if the game will be coming west.
