Last week, Full Control started a Kickstarter campaign that if successful, would completely reset the Jagged Alliance series in the brand new game Jagged Alliance: Flashback. In just one week, they've already managed to raise over $100,000 toward their cause.

Meanwhile, Full Control has been busy posting updates on all the gameplay features they plan on implementing in Flashback, including: destructible environments, new add-ons, improvements to the classic gameplay system of the second JA game, the return of the beloved mercenary personalities and, as outlined in today's update, an all new storyline.

For me, the storyline is especially exciting as it subverts the usual plotline found in many videogames about the "bad Russians" being stopped by the "good Americans." The player character is sent to a Caribbean island by the CIA in order to restore the democratic government and remove the Soviet Union "threat." However, things are not as they seem and the player can choose which side to align with, what allies to recruit and how to stop an all-out-war from breaking out.
