Arc System Works launched a new promotion video for their compilation release Jake Hunter: Oldies, out now on iOS/Android devices in Japan.

The trailer goes over key art from, No. 09: Jake Hunter: Kito’s Night, No. 17: Jake Hunter: The Endless Night, No. 20: Jake Hunter: Portrait of a Dead Child. Each are remastered releases contained in the smartphone application. Chapter 1 can be played for free, but the full game will cost 480 yen for each additional game (in-app purchases).

As of now, only the first 5 of the remastered games have been released in the west and were included on the Nintendo DS Remake, Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past.

Currently, Arc System Works is also developing a new story for the Jake Hunter for the 3DS titled, Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk. The game is being worked on by key members of the Jake Hunter development crew to ensure the series' 30th anniversary release is up to the standards the series has set.

At this time there is no confirmed western release of Jake Hunter: Oldies or Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk.
