Japan Finally Gets its Own PlayStation Blog

on January 27, 2015 12:43 AM

One detail has always differentiated the Japanese PlayStation community from its western counterparts, and that’s the fact that Japan never had a formal “PlayStation Blog.” The Japanese arm of Sony Computer Entertainment has always held its official communication with its fanbase through the PlayCommu website and blog. That finally changed today.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan just moved itself in line with the rest of the world, by opening its own “PlayStation.Blog” (with the dot in the name), that can be found here.

While there are some differences, the style is definitely more similar to what we’re used to in the west. It also loads a lot faster, which is always welcome.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
