Add one more thing to the list of awesome stuff that makes you wish you lived in Japan. Starting the day after Christmas, Pokemon Centers in the Land of the Rising Sun began selling these metal charms, the first series of which were modeled after the complete evolutionary path of all 151 Kanto species. The project continues tomorrow, when the monsters native to the Johto and Hoenn regions from generations two and three, respectively, are released.

The Pokemon from the Sinnoh and Unova regions go on sale Feb. 4, by which time Japanese enthusiasts will have access to metal charms for all 646 pocket monsters. Need a shoulder to cry on? Too bad. It's probably onlly available in Japan.
