The Xbox One fanfest in Tokyo was just wrapped up, and the livestream has also ended, which means we can get an idea of how much the Japanese fans enjoyed the show.

Nico Nico, where the broadcast was streamed, asks viewers to gauge their appreciation at the end of each program, and the following was today’s result:

IF

  • It was very good: 64.4%
  • It was pretty good: 23.4%
  • It was average: 8.0%
  • It wasn’t very good: 1.3%
  • It was bad: 2.9%

This brings up an 87.8% approval rating among the 48,377 gamers that watched the livestream, which is definitely a nice result.

Featured were Scalebound, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rainbow Six: Guardians, Halo 5: Guardians and more, even if no gameplay was showcased for Halo, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that impacted the ratings at least a bit.

The scalebound panel was especially popular. The fans at the show crowded the area around the stage, and lined up to exchange a few words with Hideki Kamiya and ask for autographs.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see how the game will perform in Japan, even if right now all I’m thinking about is that I really, really want to play it.
