The Gallian Liberation Front is at it again. With morale bolstered by Sega openly admitting that there’s still hope for a localization of Valkyria Chronicles III, the die-hard group of Valkyria Chronicles supporters is launching “Operation Iron Veil“: a mailing campaign that celebrates the third anniversary of the launch in the U.S. of the first game of the series.
Anyone that wants to support the campaign is encouraged to send physical letters and e-mails to Sega West, in order to further demonstrate that there’s a dedicated fanbase for the game, and that a release in the west has the potential to be a success for Sega as much as for the fans.
The goal is to get the physical letters and the e-mails hit the Sega offices all together on November the 4th (the anniversary I mentioned above).
On the Gallian Liberation Front blog you can find pre-made letter templates, instructions, mailing adresses and even a neat delivery estimate chart to help you hit the planned date correctly. While you wait for the right day to send your letters and mails, you may want (if you still didn’t) to join the group’s facebook page and to sign their petition (that at the moment of of this writing has already reached a very respectable 2781 signatures). You can also head past the cut to see the video they made to advertise Operation Iron Veil. All Hands to Battle Stations!
