Capcom has announced that it will be releasing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. for PlayStation Network on August 21st and Xbox LIVE on August 22nd. The game will retail for $19.99  USD/1600 Microsoft Points.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. is a fighting game based on the popular Japanese manga that features HD visuals. Players will have the option to play in classic arcade style and an option to play in Arcade SD Mode that will show of the pixel art seen in the original release. The games allows for super combos and special attacks to be performed using the supernatural power that is known as Stands. This power will be familiar to the fans of the manga series.

New features added to the game include the ability to compete against other players online using a matching system seen in Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Battle points can be earned in order to help in figuring out what areas to train in and work up the global leaderboards.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. introduces a multiplayer lobby system where eight players can compete.  The winner continues to play while the losers must wait for their chance to earn victory and hold their spot to keep playing. Also for players who are interested in improving their skills will appreciate the new video function that will let players watch replays of their fights and share the videos online.

Fighting game fans and fans of the original game and manga should definitely check this game out when it is released later this summer.
