In a rather strange move, classic Midway arcade game Joust has returned to Xbox Live Arcade -- additionally being added to Xbox One's Backwards Compatibility program. Joust notably disappeared in 2010 when developer Midway became defunct, following bankruptcy.

Joust first appeared in arcades in 1982, later making revival appearances on NES, multiple Atari programs, GameBoy, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and (notably Xbox 360). While no other delisted Midway games have been added to Xbox One's Backwards Compatibility program, it may be smart to snatch this up if you are interested -- in case it is unexpectedly pulled again.
