What Just Happened in The Call of Duty: WWII Zombies Mode Twitch Stream

Today, the Call of Duty official Twitch account streamed footage of Mittelburg, jumpscares, and finally, the official trailer for the Nazi Zombie mode.

Today, the official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted a link to a livestream that began by showing a location in Mittelburg, the location the Zombies teaser trailer was shot in from yesterday.

The livestream began with the shot of a gate in Mittelburg, the castle town in which the mode takes place. The shot showed a gate on the corner of Hauptplatz and Flussufer and a street lamp. Suddenly, the reel changed to a shot of a painting and the sound of screaming, and fluttered back to the shot of the gate as quickly as it had appeared (one hell of a jump scare). This time though– the gate was open.

Another few minutes went by and yep, another reel cut, this time to a theater, with the shadow of a man hung upside down. Another few minutes– what looks to be a butcher’s cutting station. Another 10 minutes passed by and then the shot panned down through the street to reveal a surgeon looking character without a face, as well as a cut to a screen reading:
