If you think that you have what it takes to be a game developer, this could be the chance to prove it. Kadokawa Games just launched a contest to find one idea to add to its upcoming PS Vita JRPG Demon Gaze II.

The contest requires fans to submit an idea to be implemented in the game before the deadline on November 30th. In order to do so, you need to go at the bottom of this page, click on the toggle from “no” to “yes” (which agrees to the guidelines), and then click on the blue button.

In the following form, you need to type in order you name, your email address, the title of your idea, and a description of the idea. Lastly, you click “submit” and you’re done. There’s no restriction for foreign applicants mentioned anywhere, even if, of course, we can’t guarantee that they will be considered.

Submissions need to follow the guidelines below:

  • It fits the basics system and world view of Demon Gaze.
  • It’s only a small story, bonus or hidden element.
  • Obtaining it does not depend on player skill. The element can be enjoyed equally by skilled and unskilled players.

The world view is the following:

“The setting of Demon Gaze II  is a sword and sorcery fantasy world, within a large city. The era is the middle ages, and the location is similar to real world Europe. Together with humans, in the city live different races like Elves and Dwarfs. Outside the city, there’s a dangerous dungeon in which monsters such as goblins and dragons dwell.

The hero and his friends have to defeat a demon, and in order to do so, they need to master the dungeon, collect items and become stronger. Also, demons will become friends in order to defeat the enemy with their powers. “

Two prizes will be awarded:

Best Idea Award: the winner will receive original goods as a reward, delivered at an award ceremony, his or her name in the credits, and the idea will be implemented in the game.

Nice Idea Award: the winner will receive original goods as a reward, and his or her name in the credits.

Demon Gaze II is set for release in Japan in 2016.
