Kairo is Entering Indie Games Festival 2012, Gets a New Trailer

on October 19, 2011 5:00 PM

Do you like exploration games with some puzzle solving and an incredibly rich atmosphere? Say hi to Kairo, an indie game made by a single man: Richard Perrin. I got the pleasure of playing the game at PAX earlier this year, and it looks like he’s entering it into the running at IGF 2012.

I feel like a straight up turd for never writing about Kairo, I waited awhile to get the demo and assets from Richard and when I finally did (he’s a busy man after all) I just got too busy because of stupid real life. No more…

Look for our preview coming soon, and keep an eye out for more information on this crazy game.  A new trailer has been released which is after the break, so watch that in the meantime. Did I mention that Kairo was one of my favorite games at PAX? Yes, the same PAX where I played Skyrim, RAGE, Battlefield 3 and many many more.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
