Kane & Lynch Film Delayed

Kane & Lynch, Liongate’s film adaptation of the game with the same name has been delayed. Originally planned to go before cameras next month with French filmmaker Patrick Alessandrin, the Los Angeles Times reports that Kane & Lynch is now left without a director with a start date that is TBD.

The LA Times also says it is likely that Kane & Lynch will, at the earliest, start production in the first quarter of 2011. Possible replacements for Alessandrin include: F. Gary Gray (who made Law Abiding Citizen with Foxx), Antoine Fuqua (Willis’ Tears of the Sun) and Wayne Kramer (Running Scared).  Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx are still set to star in the film.
