Kickstarter Update For Massive Chalice Addresses Pledge Tiers and Stretch Goals

on June 4, 2013 7:00 PM

Today we get a short but important update for Double Fine’s newest Kickstarter, Massive Chalice. The first part of the video discusses new tweaks to the reward curve, which includes an exclusive backers-only Bloodline Relic (to give the first generation of heroes an edge in combat) for $35 pledgers. At $75, backers get a special edition boxed copy of Massive Chalice designed by Cory Schmitz (the game’s logo designer).

The video’s second half goes into stretch goals–or better put, the current lack of them. As Brad states, the game is in pre-production and so the development team doesn’t have any concrete ideas yet for added content. However, Double Fine plans on using feedback from the Kickstarter community to develop stretch goals that align with the vision of the game and with the backers’ own desires.
