XSeed Games just announced that Killer is Dead will be released in North America on August the 27th for both PS3 and Xbox 360, and will take $59.99 from our wallets.

All initial launch copies of the game will come packaged with an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD that will include 25 tracks, and the "Smooth Operator" DLC pack, that will grant you all the DLC bonuses that I already reported about for the Japanese market (here, here and here).

XSeed Games President Shinichi Suzuki accompanied the announcement with a statement:

We are looking forward to the upcoming release of KILLER IS DEAD with a special art book, soundtrack CD and bonus DLC. Fans have been very supportive, which we’re extremely grateful for, so everyone who has pre-ordered the game or buys it at launch will get a deluxe version for no extra charge.
