Killer is Dead Gets Release Date and “Launch Edition” in North America

XSeed Games just announced that Killer is Dead will be released in North America on August the 27th for both PS3 and Xbox 360, and will take $59.99 from our wallets.

All initial launch copies of the game will come packaged with an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD that will include 25 tracks, and the “Smooth Operator” DLC pack, that will grant you all the DLC bonuses that I already reported about for the Japanese market (here, here and here).

XSeed Games President Shinichi Suzuki accompanied the announcement with a statement:

We are looking forward to the upcoming release of KILLER IS DEAD with a special art book, soundtrack CD and bonus DLC. Fans have been very supportive, which we’re extremely grateful for, so everyone who has pre-ordered the game or buys it at launch will get a deluxe version for no extra charge.

Below you can see a mock up of this “Launch Edition”. Not too shabby, isn’t it?
