SCEE announced a Public Beta Trial today for the upcoming Killzone 3 for PlayStation 3. On October 25th, fans will be able to have a chance to get a taste of the multiplayer mode, including the all-new "Operations" game type, party system, and jetpack and exoskeleton vehicles. All that fans would need to do is to report bugs and cheats that they find, give gameplay feedback and help test the network code in large-scale, real-world scenarios. Sounds easy enough. All that you need to do is act fast because access to the beta will only be given to the first 10,000 PlayStation Plus subscribers in PAL territories. So, you will just need to follow these simple steps below and you could be within the beta in a matter of no time:

  • Become a PlayStation Plus subscriber
  • Download the exclusive Killzone 3 XMB Theme from PlayStation Plus section of the PlayStation Store on October 14th
  • Check your email! If you are one of the lucky 10,000 to download the Killzone 3 XMB Theme, you'll receive an email on October 25th containing the Public Beta Trial promotion code and further instructions through the address you registered as your PSN Sign-In ID.
