2014 is bringing plenty of Nintendo's biggest heavy hitters to both Wii U and 3DS in 2014, and likewise Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS is getting one of its own with the latest character reveal for the upcoming entry of Nintendo's mascot fighting series.

Over on Nintendo's official Super Smash Bros. site, King Dedede from the Kirby series has been revealed as the next character to join the roster for the Wii U and 3DS entries of Super Smash Bros., with the character a returning veteran to the series after his first playable appearance in 2008's Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii. Joining alongside series' mainstay Kirby, King Dedede will once again prove to be one of the game's heavy hitter characters, but with the unique abilities to float and swallow up other enemies - and maybe lay down the hammer here and there in a fight on his own.
