King of Fighters XIII Dated for Japanese Consoles

on July 5, 2011 7:00 PM

We’ve received release details for the next entry in the long running and celebrated King of Fighters series. Japanese release details, anyway. The long awaited entry, The King of Fighters XIII, will hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 27th. This suggests a November or December release date for the US. This inference isn’t based only on the Japanese release date, but also on the fact that we know the game is due this year.

Furthermore, the console version of the game will feature an exclusive playable character (actually, a returning fan favorite); the nefarious Billy Kane. Once again, I’d like to extend a special thanks to Atlus for making it possible. Stay tuned for firm US release details.
