Warhorse Studio’s upcoming RPG has reached its Kickstarter goal in just under two days.
As we previously reported, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a currently in development RPG from Warhorse Studios. It had already received $1.5 million from an investor but the developer needed more money to bring the title to life. They made a deal with the investor that if they were able to raise enough money on Kickstarter that he would continue to fund them.
Here is what the team had to say about the success of the campaign on their Facebook page:
That’s really, absolutely, mind-blowingly thrilling. We cannot stress strongly enough how grateful we are to all of you. This resounding confirmation of what we’ve been working on for almost two years just makes everything worthwhile. We are happy — and privileged — to be working on this project and we want to make the best possible game we can, for you.
Warhorse went on to say that any money they make past their initial goal will go toward making Deliverance even better. They will now begin to add stretch goals to this campaign since it still has another 26 days to go.
