Square Enix launched a new trailer for their RPG Kingdom Hearts III, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The trailer was first shown at Kingdom Hearts Orchestra – World Tour – and shows plenty of new gameplay from the much anticipated RPG. In addition to some battle scenes with Sora, Goofy, and Donald in battle, we also get a chance to see returning enemies of Pete, Malefacant, and Hades.

Since Kingdom Hearts III’s reveal four years ago, there has been very little information or footage from the game. However, in that same time the series has received several remastered releases, including Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue which is a compilation title, Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD and Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover.

Additionally, Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX released for PlayStation 4 this year providing every entry in the series a remastered release on current generation hardware.

DualShockers reviewed Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and thought it was a great lead in to the potential of Kingdom Hearts III. After watching the trailer, I believe we were right to assume this.
