A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV Now Available for Free for PS4 and Xbox One; Gets New Trailer [UPDATED]

Those who didn't pre-order Final Fantasy XV at GameStop will finally be able to play A King's Tale, for free.

Today Square Enix made the retro-style spin-off game A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV available for free for PS4 and Xbox One.

At the moment it’s not yet available on the North AmericanPlayStation store, but it should be later today. You can download it on the European PlayStation Storeon the North American PlayStation Store or on the Xbox Store regardless of location.

The game, that was previously a GameStop pre-order exclusive, is a side-scrolling hack & slash spin-off based on a fairy tale told by King Regis to young Prince Noctis, starring Regis himself as the protagonist.

Alongside the free release, Square Enix also published new screenshots and a trailer, that you can enjoy below.
