A Twitter account celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nintendo mascot Kirby was launched today.
As stated in the account’s biography, it will inform the public of information in regards to the celebration, but won’t go so far as to answer fan questions or inquiries. Of course, all news will be delivered courtesy of “the Wadordi report team of the Pupu Broadcasting Station.”
Kirby first appeared in 1992 in Kirby’s Dream Land for the original Game Boy. Created by Masahiro Sakurai at the age of 19, he has since starred in over 20 games, including as a playable fighter in all the Super Smash Bros. titles.
His most recent appearance is in Kirby: Planet Robobot for the Nintendo 3DS, which DualShockers reviewed as “an accessible, light-hearted, and fun approach to platforming” despite there being plenty of opportunity for Nintendo to do more for its underrated star.
