While not much official has been recently stated about the western release of the lovely Korean MMO Blade & Soul, the game is well on its way to being released in China. Tencent Games, the Chinese distributor of the title, has revealed that the Korean super group Girls' Generation will be spokespeople for the game in China. The Girls' Generation marketing campaign will focus on "youth".

Girls' Generation is without a doubt Korea's biggest and most successful girl group, with nearly all of their releases claiming top spots on the sales chart. They've also released and promoted music in Japanese and English. With a name like theirs attached to the game, Blade & Soul is sure to be an even bigger deal than it already is.

A closed beta for the game will begin in China on October 29th, and you can view a new Chinese trailer for the game below, as well as the first promo featuring the girls. I've also added a Girls' Generation music video for good measure.
