In 2013, Lara Croft came roaring back in to the lives of gamers everywhere with the incredibly well-received Tomb Raider reboot bringing Lara into a grittier and darker chapter, with her journey to continue in this year's Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Ahead of the game's presence at this year's E3 2015, Microsoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming title giving us an even more tantalizing glimpse at what awaits Lara in her next adventure. Wherever Rise of the Tomb Raider takes us, we can at least expect the upcoming game to take us to another thrilling chapter in Lara's saga.

In addition to the game's trailer, Microsoft's Larry Hryb (aka "Major Nelson") also shared the final box art for Rise of the Tomb Raider, which you can take a look at below - it's certainly reflective of the previous game's art while drawing on Lara's sense of adventure and courage.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will release as a timed exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in holiday 2015 - in the meantime, you can check out the brand new trailer below:
