Latest Title Update for Grand Theft Auto V Makes it Harder for People to Cheat Online

on January 13, 2014 6:09 PM

Since it was released, some in Grand Theft Auto Online have used exploits and cheats to earn ridiculous amounts of money. Rockstar has been pretty aggressive with catching these exploits and eliminating them. This latest patch is yet another measure to stop cheaters and exploiters.

The patch notes for 1.09 are short but reveal that this is indeed an anti-cheat/exploit patch:

  • Improved anti-cheat measures
  • Fix for several GTA$ and RP exploits

Looks like people are going to have to earn the millions it takes for some of the high luxury apartments and vehicles the old fashioned way: by playing Grand Theft Auto Online like it was meant to be played. Let’s see how long it takes before someone else finds another way to cheat the system.
