PlayStation Blog Japan revealed a special limited edition PlayStation 4 dedicated to Falcom’s upcoming RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III.

The limited edition will open up for pre-orders on August 8 with multiple stores in Japan hosting reservations, including the Official Sony Store.

The special PlayStation 4 is engraved with the seal of each region from the The Legion of Heroes lore. The PlayStation 4 will come in Jet Black and have an original theme loaded onto the console. Additionally, the unit will be offered as a 500gb and 1tb model costing 33,480 yen and 38, 480 yen, respectively.

Furthermore, the console will come packed in an original designed outer box. However, the The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III software will not be included with the purchase. The system will be released the same day of the game on September 28 in Japan.

Currently, there is no word on if the game will come west, but after speaking with DualShockers, the president of Falcom expresses interest in seeing the game localized and is working with partners to make it happen.

Recently, new screenshots were released show the Divine Knight battle system as well as more screenshots showing familiar faces.
