Today Nihon Falcom released a batch of screenshots of its upcoming JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III.

The screenshots focus on the battle system, showing the "Brave Order" feature, that lets players consume a Brave Point (BP: which accumulate during battle) to give an effect to all party members without using an action.

We also get to see Yuna's battle modes, that can be switched between Striker Mode and Gunner Mode on each turn, providing a flexible way to defeat opponents in close or medium range.

Last, but not least, we see Crafts, that are character-specific battle techniques that are activated by spending Craft Points (CP, which accumulate during battle). CP spend depends on the Craft activated, and depend on the personality of each character. Some give powerful attacks, others allow to heal allies and so forth.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will launch in Japan on September 28th, exclusively for PS4. No western release date has been announced for the moment.
