The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild got a double wammy at The Game Awards 2016. Not only did the game get a new trailer, but it also got a couple of minutes of gameplay footage.

Aonuma, whou couldn't be there in person, ushered in the new video showing the Nintendo Treehouse Team playing the new Zelda game on a Wii U. The gameplay footage (seen below) showed off Zonai Ruins, a new character Cazz, and a far amount of exploring and combat.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release on both Wii U and Nintendo Switch in 2017. Check out the gameplay footage below:
