LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for Xbox One Delayed by Warner Bros, Missing Out on Launch

on November 13, 2013 7:22 AM

The LEGO series is releasing possibly one of their most expansive and biggest efforts yet through LEGO Marvel Super Heroes this fall on next-gen consoles, but unfortunately the Xbox One version of the game looks like it may need some additional development time before release.

Warner Bros. confirmed with MCV UK that the Xbox One version of the game has been delayed: while initially planned to release as a launch title for the new console on November 22nd, Warner Bros. has detailed that the game will not make the launch. The company didn’t give a specific new release date or cause for the delay, but mentioned that “We will provide a release date for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes on Xbox One as soon as possible.”

Aside from the Xbox One version’s delay, the game will still be releasing as scheduled for the PS4 launch on November 15th, 2013.
