LEGO The Hobbit In Development, Confirmed by Traveller’s Tales for Spring 2014

It has been confirmed after a previous rumor that Traveller’s Tales will be continuing their annual release of console-based LEGO games with the release of LEGO The Hobbit.

The game will be based on the first two installments of the Peter Jackson-directed film trilogy, including The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the upcoming The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. The game will include notable locations and characters from both films, and will be expanding upon the recently-released LEGO playsets which are based on The Hobbit film franchise.

LEGO The Hobbit is being developed by Traveller’s Tales and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Enterainment for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and Mac on unannounced date in Spring 2014.
