on July 25, 2011 10:00 PM

We have known for a while that Level-5 – developers of White Knight Chronicles, Professor Layton, Rogue Galaxy and others – was going to set up shop in North America. They have done that. We know they are going to put a partial focus on developing titles specifically for Western audiences, as well. What we didn’t know what that they are just as keen on bringing more titles developed in Japan our way.

This is great news for fans of their titles, and Japanese developed games in particular. What it could mean down the line are titles like Ni No Kuni and White Knight Chronicles spin-offs could get quicker localizations. On Level-5’s North American site, they posted a video message to Western fans detailing what they can expect from the developer in the future. You can check out the message after the cut.
