Liege Hits all Stretch Goals on Kickstarter, now Confirmed for Wii U

on July 29, 2013 9:40 AM

Crowdfunded funded project Liege has just hit all of its stretch goals with only a few hours to spare. Originally asking for $15,000, the one man team over at Coda Games managed to get over $80,000 as of last night.

Liege is a cross platform, party-based, tactical role-playing game drawing inspirations from Final Fantasy Tactics and the Fire Emblem series. The fact that Liege hit its stretch goal means that additional content will be added to game along with more resources being put into improved art design. In the pitch video we see John Rhee explaining the concept behind his game. He’s aiming to have an mature story geared towards adult audiences. The most important thing is that Coda Games now has to fund to pay the hardware and license costs to get their game on the Wii U. Also, expect to see Liege on PS4 and Vita since those goals were hit too.

Liege is planned to be released as a trilogy in early 2014.
