While we've known for quite some time that a follow-up season to Square Enix and Dontnod's Life is Strange series would be on the horizon, following its announcement several weeks ago it appears that we won't have to wait too much longer until we see what's in store for Life is Strange 2.

Square Enix has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Life is Strange 2, with the trailer highlighting "found-footage" style video of a car crash that gives another tantalizing hint of the story, which promises "a new journey" according to the video's description.

In addition to the new trailer, Square also announced that a full reveal for Life is Strange 2 will be unveiled on August 20th, 2018. It's assumed that that date will give us not only a new trailer, but a look at the bigger picture of how the series' second season will expand on its intriguing universe.

Life is Strange 2 will debut with its first episode on September 27th, 2018 - for a closer look at the upcoming title, you can check out the newly-released teaser trailer below.
