Listen to Clips From the FFXIII Soundtrack

on December 12, 2009 7:00 AM

The official site for the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack was just updated with clips of the first 10 tracks of disc one.  You know a game is big when its soundtrack gets its own site, right?  Also, take a look at this thing!  It’s four discs!  There are also two versions of the soundtrack – a standard and collector’s edition, naturally.

Listening to the 10 clips they have, I’m really digging the soundtrack so far.  Stand-outs to me are track #2, the piano piece, and track #4 with the heavy guitar.  This soundtrack releases on January 27, about half way between the Japanese and North American release dates for the game itself.  I’m definitely going to attempt to get my hands on one of these when they become available, I’m a sucker for game soundtracks, and with a game this big, it’s bound to be good!

To listen to the 10 clips, head on over to the site, click on “Track List” at the bottom and just click on whichever one you want to hear.  Enjoy!
