As they promised they would be, Lab Zero has been very vocal and transparent concerning the development of the new Skullgirls content funded by their recent wildly successful fundraiser. Today they've shared an early, bare bones version of the music theme that will accompany the new River King Casino stage. Crafted by the brilliant Michiru Yamane, this version of the song "just establishes the melody", but the rest of this song will be built upon this foundation. This song is just gorgeous and it definitely captures the essence of excitement and chance that permeates a casino.

There is currently no revealed release window for the River King Casino, but the first piece of add-on content for Skullgirls - the character Squigly, her Meridian Rooftops stage, story campaign and theme song - will be available this summer. Check out the theme below.
