Italian developer Digital Tales is bringing the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood to the iPad in an interactive way. Little Red Riding Hood features vibrant illustrations with catchy music and sound effects to engage users in the world of this classic story.

Little Red Riding Hood is designed with the whole family in mind. Parents can use the illustrated index to skip to their child’s favorite part of the story or make use of the automatic page turning option. The game also allows those interacting with the book to record their own voice and replace that of the narrator. Interactive applications like this are a great way to get kids interested in some great classic fairy tales in new ways.

The game allows players to interact directly with the story and feel like they are the one driving the story forward. Players can dress up the wolf to look like Grandma or help Little Red gather flowers into her basket.

This game will be great for parents looking to find new ways to introduce their kids to classic stories and reading. Check it out on the iTunes App Store for $3.99.
