The internet was abuzz last week with news of LittleBigPlanet 2's release date getting pushed back from November to January. But if it's any consolation to the series' fans, there is a pretty good reason for the later release. When the game ships in January, it will include around 10 levels of gameplay showing how the game will function with the PlayStation Move's controls.

At some point after the game is released, Sony is planning to release a free DLC pack that will contain full support for the rest of the game for the Move, as well as support for players to make their own levels using the Move controls.

Considering the first LittleBigPlanet's impressive in-game physics using the motion sensors in the normal DualShock and Sixaxis controllers, the gameplay integrating the Move is sure to be groundbreaking.
