It's the start of a whole new year with 2016 just underway, yet for developer Media Molecule of the LittleBigPlanet series and the upcoming Dreams, today is also the studio's birthday and a particularly note-worthy one, as the studio hit 10 years today.

A new post on the PlayStation Blog was released to celebrate the 10th birthday of developer Media Molecule since its founding, and since then the studio in particular has brought us so many titles with a creative flair, from the LittleBigPlanet series on PS3, to Tearaway on PS Vita, to the upcoming Dreams, which will be heading to the PS4 as an exclusive title with an expected beta to come this year.

Given the studio's penchant for charming, beautiful, and crafty creations, the studio created its own interactive experience with the "Marvellous Media Molecule Time Machine," an interactive timeline filled with old blog posts, photos, and other surprises to recap the studio's 10-year history, which you can view by clicking right here.

In addition to the celebrations, a beautiful poster-sized piece of artwork was released to celebrate the studio's 10th birthday, which you can view full-sized below, along with the studio's closing (and touching) message from the post:

"Our 10th anniversary is a very special milestone for us, so expect lots of celebrations throughout the year; our official birthday is just the beginning! We’ve got some pretty exciting announcements and events happening over the course of the next 12 months, not to mention all the fun we’ll be having with Dreams too. It’s going to be a jam-packed year so make sure you join us for the ride!"

"We couldn’t have got this far without all the endless love and support from our wonderful community; we really do have the best fans in the world. The energy and passion that you folks have for our games continually inspires us and pushes us forward, we never want to stop creating and making things for you all. Thank YOU for being the most awesome community we could have ever imagined, we love you all and we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years will bring!"

From crafting levels in LittleBigPlanet to reliving our wildest memories in Dreams, happy birthday Media Molecule!
