Loot Crate’s Gritty Mega Man Short Film is All Kinds of Excellent

In recent years, Mega Man has had an unfortunate time away from the spotlight and left to the shadows, with few new releases and only cameo appearances here and there in other titles, though that has changed this year with the Blue Bomber’s appearance in the new Super Smash Bros. titles and an excellent short film from the folks at Loot Crate.

Released through Loot Crate as part of the company’s November crate, which features the theme of “Battle” and is centered around video games, the new video shows a gritty reboot of the famous Capcom hero in an awesome fan-made short film. It may be a little Christopher Nolan-esque for some, but it’s still an awesome tribute to the Blue Bomber.
