On the coattails of last year's Lords of the Fallen, developer Deck13 teased the beginnings of a new dystopian sci-fi RPG project coming to current-gen consoles and PC, and now those heading to Germany for next month's Gamescom 2015 will be able to get their first glimpse of what's to come from the currently-untitled new project.

Publisher Focus Home Interactive revealed that the new RPG project from Deck13 will be revealed at Gamescom 2015. However, no direct gameplay footage will be released or shown for the general public, as instead the studio is only showing the game in behind-closed-doors sessions with journalists at Gamescom, offering interviews with the core development team.

While details for the project are still vague at this point, previous reports indicated the game's dystopian sci-fi theme, while Focus Home Interactive indicated that the game will feature "innovative combat mechanics and an original character progression system based on modular upgrades gained through tight, visceral combat," and closing out that the new project from Deck13"will be one of the most exciting RPGs to come in the future."

Deck13's new sci-fi RPG project is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with release being aimed for 2017.
